Matt McBrady
Managing director, strategic investments, Silver Creek Capital
McBrady is responsible for establishing and reviewing top-down investment theses for each of the strategies in which Silver Creek invests, as well as overseeing portfolio risk monitoring, extreme scenario analysis and tail hedging activities. Prior to joining Silver Creek, McBrady was an investment professional at Bain Capital’s North American private equity group. He previously served as a both a finance professor and a policy economist, having begun his career as an international economist in President Clinton’s Council of Economic Advisors, and subsequently working for Tim Geithner at the US Treasury Department. McBrady holds a PhD in Business Economics from Harvard University and a Master of Science in Economics for Development from Oxford, where he was a Marshall Scholar.
