Max Horgan

Australian head of foreign exchange, State Street Global Markets

Horgan has worked in financial markets for more than 20 years, largely in the area of currency derivatives. He joined State Street’s Sydney office from New York, where he was the US head of foreign exchange derivatives for a major global bank. He has worked with all client types including private wealth, corporate, institutional and central banks. Prior to his current role, Horgan was head of foreign exchange options for Asia Pacific at State Street. He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in applied finance and investment.
